TORRANCE, Calif. -- F&I Conference & Expo attendees will have the opportunity to test their knowledge of compliance in the F&I and sales offices with industry experts during the workshop "Making Ethical Compliance Work."
JM&A’s Bruce Foster and Chris Costello will lead the seminar by focusing on issues that have recently appeared in the news media, such as on 60 Minutes. The audience will be asked to electronically rate the responses of automotive personnel played out in a short video clip format.
This workshop will examine the participants’ legal awareness of common scenarios that occur in dealerships across the nation. Through active audience participation, the speakers and attendees are taken through some questionable practices that occur frequently today and given solutions to make the practices better and compliant.
Other workshop topics for the conference were selected by polling automotive dealer principals and their F&I directors. The F&I Conference & Expo has attracted the country’s leading experts to facilitate key sessions on leading topics dealers are concerned with today. Included are:
Proven Service Contract Techniques
Improving CSI with F&I
Integrating F&I Into the Sales Process
Effective Menu Selling
Route to Ethical Compliance
Conference attendees all have the option of earning nationally recognized certification for base knowledge, advanced learning and for those attending the program. In addition, there will be a record number of industry suppliers at the Expo portion displaying the latest in technology and services.
The F&I Conference & Expo will be held at the Mirage Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas Nov. 9-11, 2005. On-site registration is still available. Last year’s attendance totaled more than 700, including dealers, general managers, F&I managers, exhibitors, lenders and other auto industry members.
