Cowboy Corp announced Jan. 23 that the next evolution of its CRM and lead management solution, Prospector 3, is making its official debut at the NADA 2002 Convention, Booth 3653, in New Orleans.

According to Cowboy Corp, Prospector 3 not only has a new look that makes navigating the system highly intuitive for users with minimal computer experience, it also adds a host of new features that will set new benchmarks for CRM and lead management in the automotive industry.

Some of the new features include: advanced automated follow-up which ensures that sales and business processes are followed; custom defined fields, pick lists and drop down boxes which, according to Cowboy Corp, provide flexibility and ease of use; goal setting with automatic notification to create accountability at all levels; customer rating systems, telephone talk tracks, householding, user definable page views, advanced searching, management reporting and data mining; enhanced email client; and enhanced forms including credit applications.

"I was originally impressed with Prospector 2 because it was easy to use and had all the features that I needed. After being exposed to Prospector 3, I am amazed at how Cowboy was able to improve on something that was already so great to begin with," said Joe Jankowski, COO of Schaefer and Strohminger.

"Prospector 3 was developed as a result of discussions with our clients and input from other industry experts. We are continuing to execute on our promise to our clients that they will always have the most advanced and powerful CRM and lead management solution available. As our competition tries to play catch-up, we continue to lead the automotive industry in the future of CRM," stated Jordan Lampert, co-founder and V.P. of operations.
