IRVINE, Calif. — Crossbow Group Inc. has announced a new partnership with CalAmp, which will serve as the licensed manufacturer of Crossbow’s patent-pending ReCaP payment assurance system.

"ReCaP is the only single-source payment assurance system that goes beyond starter interrupt and location technology," Crossbow co-founder Ashley Herndon told Special Finance. "It's like magic how well and simply it works. The president of a national finance company recently told us, 'You have finally given me what I've been demanding for 10 years.'"

Herndon believes that combining the collections process with payment assurance gives lienholders more control. Additionally, ReCaP features multiple reminders prior to and after the due date. The new system utilizes the latest in contact, location and disablement technologies, all automatic and scalable to the individual lienholder and customer, according to the manufacturer.
