Daewoo Auto Canada and Primus Financial Services Offer Customers Specialized Financing
Daewoo Auto Canada, Inc., has named Primus Financial Services its "source of choice" and Primus is already offering special financing programs to Daewoo retail customers.
“We are very excited to have Primus as our financial partner,” said Joong-In Kwon, president and chief executive officer of Daewoo Auto Canada. "This will allow both our retail customers and dealers access to the wide variety of Primus finance options at both the retail and wholesale level."
Daewoo’s line up of models includes the subcompact Lanos, the compact Nubira and the midsize Leganza. Daewoo now has nearly 40 retail dealerships across Canada with continued growth forecast for 2001.
"Primus field sales people are signing each of the Daewoo dealers," said Liliane DuBois, vice president, Primus Canada. "We're offering a full array of retail, and wholesale finance products." By aligning with Primus, Daewoo dealers will be able to offer customers a full range of special automotive financing services. DuBois emphasized Primus is committed to the automotive finance business.
"We're in business is to provide private label financial services to our manufacturer partners and to provide a full range of automotive financing under the Primus name," she said. "We are absolutely committed to developing long-term relationships with our manufacturers and dealers."
"Being a provider of choice provides us a significant competitive advantage when Daewoo offers special financing programs through us. And we are set up so we can be the source of choice for a manufacturer almost overnight," DuBois said.
