United Car Care Inc.’s dealer customers can now have their vehicle service contracts insured by Dealers Assurance Co.
"Our new insurance agreement is the teaming up of two great companies, both with proven, secure track records of financial strength and integrity for over 20 years," said Dan McNellis, president of United Car Care. "The DAC insurance agreement will provide new avenues by which to grow into other markets and offer new products."
Ohio-based DAC was founded in 1935 as the Mahoning Insurance Co. and was purchased by Dealers Alliance Co. in 1980. It has maintained the highest casualty insurance company rating with A.M. Best since 1985, the first year it was eligible for a rating.
