A former office manager at a Manchester, N.H., car dealer has pleaded guilty to bank fraud.
Prosecutors said Tracy Petrucelli, 39, was passing bad checks at Bank of New Hampshire and Citizens Bank accounts, resulting in losses of $168,000 for the banks, Foster’s daily Democrat reported.
She also is accused of depositing $1 million in counterfeit checks into the accounts of the dealership, Manchester Mitsubishi, before it was sold in November 2003.
Petrucelli will be sentenced on Oct. 17. She faces up to 30 years in prison and fines double the loss attributed to her transactions.
