DealerTrack and Manheim Dealers Can Post Vehicles on OVE.com
DealerTrack Inc., a subsidiary of DealerTrack Holdings Inc., a software provider for the U.S. automotive retail industry, today announced that through a new integration, subscribers to DealerTrack AAX, an inventory management solution, can now post vehicles directly on OVE.com, Manheim’s 24/7 Bid or Buy Now wholesale vehicle marketplace.
LAKE SUCCESS, N.Y. — Software provider DealerTrack Inc. today announced that through a new integration, subscribers to DealerTrack AAX, an inventory management solution, can now post vehicles directly on OVE.com, Manheim’s 24/7 Bid or Buy Now wholesale vehicle marketplace.
The new functionality saves dealers time and increases efficiency by eliminating the need to manually re-enter vehicle information.
“We are pleased to deepen our relationship with Manheim and to deliver new functionality that will help DealerTrack AAX customers turn their inventory faster and improve their profits,” said Bridget Townsend, senior director and general manager, DealerTrack AAX. “When a decision is made to send a vehicle to auction, it’s critical to get it listed online as quickly as possible because it loses retail value and costs the dealer money every day it sits on the lot. With this new integration, dealers can more quickly and efficiently dispose of vehicles that do not meet their customers’ needs, freeing up capital for re-investment in cars that have the potential to perform better for them.”
DealerTrack AAX delivers the tools dealers need to develop better strategies for stocking, sourcing, appraising, pricing and merchandising their used-vehicle inventory. The new integration with Manheim is included in the core DealerTrack AAX solution at no additional cost for dealers with a Manheim Seller Number. The integration allows dealers to send vehicles to the online auction in real-time, edit listings prior to sending them to auction, or add further information and upload photos by logging in to OVE.com.
Subscribers already benefit significantly from DealerTrack’s integration with Manheim, which provides real-time online access to Manheim Market Report vehicle appraisal data. DealerTrack AAX customers also receive auction listings on a daily basis, which they can then match with their recommended “buy list” to identify vehicles that are available now and have a history of performing well in their regional markets and their own dealerships.
