DELTAGROUP has relocated its corporate offices from Dallas' Stemmons corridor to the Cigna Tower in Las Colinas, a business center in the Dallas suburb of Irving, Texas.
According to company officials, the move to the new 24,000-square-foot facility accommodates a doubling in company growth experienced since 1999, allows for various corporate divisions to operate under one roof, and places DELTAGROUP in closer proximity to the Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport.
The move also signals that "new economy" corporations continue to lose ground to the "old economy," according to Jay Tuerk, president of DELTAGROUP. DELTAGROUP's new facility previously housed a failed dot com startup.
"We may have begun in a garage 14 years ago," Tuerk said, "but that is where our 'new economy' similarities end. Our governing philosophy is one of financial integrity through balance and it seems to be working, even in the midst of depressed economic conditions."
DELTAGROUP bills itself as "the largest and fastest-growing independent provider of automotive service contracts nationally." The company entered the industry as PG Marketing, Inc., in 1988.
DELTAGROUP is best known for its vehicle service contracts under the brand names Portfolio, SmartChoice 2000, OneChoice, and Equis.
