EasyCare and MOTOR TREND Offer Certified Pre-Owned Vehicle Program
MOTOR TREND has introduced the "MOTOR TREND Certified Advantage Powered by EasyCare" program, which offers consumers an opportunity to purchase used vehicles that have been thoroughly inspected, repaired, and guaranteed.
LOS ANGELES, Calif. – MOTOR TREND has introduced the "MOTOR TREND Certified Advantage Powered by EasyCare" program, which offers consumers an opportunity to purchase used vehicles that have been thoroughly inspected, repaired, and guaranteed.
"MOTOR TREND Certified Advantage is the first certified vehicle program to be specifically developed to deliver a superior consumer experience from purchase through ownership," said Larry Dorfman, CEO of EasyCare.
In addition to pre-sale inspections, processes, and warranties, every MOTOR TREND Certified Advantage vehicle comes standard with EasyCare benefits like paintless dent removal coverage, key and key fob replacement coverage, and 24/7 concierge service.
"Consumers feel more comfortable buying certified vehicles because with thorough inspections and added warranties, it is very much like buying a new vehicle," says Sean Holzman, president of Source Interlink Media’s Enterprise Division. "The Motor Trend Certified Advantage is not intended to compete with OEM Certified programs; it is built to enhance them. Knowing that there were many pre-owned vehicles on franchise dealers’ lots that were not part of the OEM certified programs, we recognized the opportunity to provide franchise dealers and consumers with a trusted third-party certification for qualified vehicles."
EasyCare recently received the "MOTOR TREND Recommended Best Buy" for their suite of vehicle service benefits.
"EasyCare introduced the first independent certified program in 1996, prior to the introduction of most OEM programs," said Dorfman. "We have always felt that these programs are a valuable asset to consumers and franchise dealers. We are excited to provide a program of this caliber to help reward and drive business to those exceptional dealers who are committed to providing an outstanding consumer experience and the best pre-owned vehicles available."
