"Charlie's sales experience, as well as his vast knowledge and track record in the automotive space, will help Entigo to further execute on its strategy and continue to attract leading manufacturers and enterprise-level customers," Layne said. "With the addition of Charlie to the sales team, Entigo is positioned to take full advantage of the increasing number of manufacturers looking to optimize their warranty management processes with Entigo's Web-enabled warranty software."

"Having worked in the manufacturing and automotive industries for much of my career, I am aware that many enterprise organizations continue to use outdated systems for tracking warranties," Eggerding said. "Entigo's warranty chain management solution is especially relevant to today's global manufacturers looking to reduce costs. I am excited to be working for a software company that offers real solutions to these manufacturing organizations' everyday business problems."

Prior to joining Entigo, Eggerding served as global vice pPresident of supplier sales for Covisint, a global solutions provider partnering with automotive companies. At Covisint, Eggerding was responsible for the supplier sales programs and managed the strategy and sales teams. He played an instrumental role in significantly increasing Covisint's presence in the global automotive supplier community.

Previous to his position at Covisint, Eggerding served as senior vice president of sales for Corio Inc., a California-based pure-play application service provider where he managed business development and the sales organization. He also served as vice president of sales for QAD, a provider of collaborative commerce software solutions to manufacturers of automotive, food and beverage, consumer, electronics, industrial and medical products, where he founded the company's automotive practice.
