A luxury-car dealer who lost his dealership license in September has fled the country, thwarting efforts by his customers to recoup thousands of dollars.
RAMSEY, N.J. — A luxury-car dealer who is accused of defrauding dozens of customers has fled the country, the FBI confirmed this week. His disappearance has thwarted efforts by his customers to recoup thousands of dollars they lost through consignment deals in which Khan never paid the seller, and sales where he failed to hand over the titles of the cars he sold.
