F&I Conference Features Keynote Speaker Pete Gerosa

TORRANCE, Calif. -- General Motors' Pete Gerosa will be a featured keynote speaker at the second annual F&I Conference & Expo, sponsored by F&I Management & Technology.

TORRANCE, Calif. -- General Motors’ Pete Gerosa will be a featured keynote speaker at the second annual F&I Conference & Expo, sponsored by F&I Management & Technology. As the North America vice president and general manager of sales, service and parts for GM, Gerosa will provide his insight into the automotive market.


He will present "Why Credit is Vital to Sell Cars" on Nov. 10 at 8:05 a.m. Gerosa oversees field sales, services and parts for each of the five regions, as well as the Fleet & Commercial, Order Fulfillment and Marketing Sales Support groups.

The F&I Conference & Expo will be held at the Mirage Hotel in Las Vegas Nov. 9-11, 2005. Last year’s attendance totaled more than 700, including dealers, general managers, F&I managers, exhibitors, lenders and other auto industry members.


Gerosa began his career at GM in 1964 with the Oldsmobile division and held various sales, service and marketing positions before being appointed assistant general sales manager in 1984. In 1986, he was named general sales and service manager of Cadillac and, in 1999, was appointed regional general manager for the Northeast region with Vehicle Sales, Service and Marketing. In 2000, he transferred to the North Central region as regional general manager.
