Ford Motor Co. Names AJ Wagner VP
DEARBORN, Mich. -- AJ Wagner, president of Ford Credit North America, was elected a vice president of Ford Motor Co., effective June 1. Wagner is president of Ford Credit North America, the automaker's lending arm.
DEARBORN, Mich. -- AJ Wagner, president of Ford Credit North America, was elected a vice president of Ford Motor Co., effective June 1. Wagner is president of Ford Credit North America, the automaker's lending arm.
"AJ has outstanding dealer relationships that serve Ford Credit well," said Bill Ford, Ford Motor Co.'s chairman and chief executive officer. "He has been instrumental in helping to re-focus Ford Credit on its mission of supporting the sale of Ford Motor Company vehicles worldwide."
Wagner manages all sales and marketing for Ford Credit's North American operations. Wagner joined Ford Credit in 1973 and has held positions in leasing, marketing, dealer credit, operations services, field operations and strategic planning. He has also served in sales for Ford Motor Co.'s Ford division.
Wagner received his bachelor's in finance from the University of Wisconsin and his master's in business administration from the University of Detroit.
