Ford Motor Credit Names New CFO
DETROIT -- K.R. Kent will become Ford Motor Credit's vice chairman and chief financial officer on March 1.
DETROIT -- K.R. Kent will become Ford Motor Credit's vice chairman and chief financial officer on March 1. Kent replaces David Cosper, who is leaving the company to become the chief financial officer at Sonic Automotive Inc. Sonic, based in Charlotte, N.C., is one of the country's largest auto retailers.
Kent joined Ford in 1987 and has served in a variety of positions in finance, including assignments with Mazda and with Ford in Europe and North America. He has served as an assistant treasurer at Ford since January 2005.
