Ford’s reputation among dealers has fallen to last place despite gains in previous surveys, according to a survey by Wall Street investment firm UBS Securities LLC. UBS said Ford, General Motors Corp. and DaimlerChrysler AG’s Chrysler Group are falling behind their competitors in sales expectations, brand desirability and projected investments in dealerships.
Toyota ranked first in franchise desirability, market share expectations and dealer relationships. However, Ford rated highest in hottest vehicle introduction for 2006: the Fusion.
