The I.D. THEFTWise membership plan will allow consumers to combat the consequences of identity theft with a single call to GAPWise’s 24/7 emergency call center. I.D. THEFTWise representatives will then procure needed authorizations and affidavits, review victim credit histories to identify potential fraud and complete all creditor notifications in the critical early stages.
In addition, the membership plan also includes many far reaching services such as emergency cash advances, access to a national network of behavioral specialists to deal with identity theft victim emotional trauma and legal document review.
According to a survey by the Federal Trade Commission, nearly 25 million Americans – 11.2 percent of the adult population – experience consumer fraud each year. Additionally, the number of adult victims of identity fraud reported annually between 2003 and 2006 has ranged from 8.9 million people to 10.1 million people in the United States alone.
