GAPWise to Offer Family Identity Theft Restoration Program

FENTON, Mo. – GAPWise LLC has partnered with Worldwide Benefit Services, Worldwide Assistance Services Inc., TransUnion and AffinityCare LLC to provide I.D. THEFTWiseSM, a life-of-loan identity theft restoration program.


The I.D. THEFTWiseSM membership plan provides an emergency call center to report identity theft 24/7. Call center representatives treat each member’s call as an emergency and immediately begin the process of procuring needed authorizations and affidavits, reviewing victim credit histories to identify potential fraud and completing all creditor notifications in the critical early stages.

"I.D. THEFTWiseSM focuses on the restoration of a stolen identity,” said Jack Ellis, Vice President Sales and Marketing for GAPWise LLC. "Our membership plan also includes many far reaching services such as emergency cash advances, access to a national network of behavioral specialists to deal with identity theft victim emotional trauma and legal document review.”


According to a survey by the Federal Trade Commission, nearly 25 million Americans (11.2 percent of the adult population) experience consumer fraud each year.
