Wolters Kluwer Financial Services announced that Gateway One Lending & Finance is now on its AppOne platform, which automates the indirect lending, credit approval and compliance processes for lenders and auto, RV, marine and powersports dealers.

Gateway One provides indirect auto lending for a broad spectrum of consumer credit. AppOne will help Gateway expand its indirect lending services to independent auto dealers across the United States. AppOne’s proprietary dealer underwriting and scoring system helps lenders evaluate the level of risk associated with each dealer relationship.

AppOne also integrates Wolters Kluwer Financial Services’ Bankers Systems motor vehicle retail installment contracts, which help ensure vehicle loan documentation is accurate and compliant. The documents are maintained by the company’s compliance experts who monitor legislative and regulatory changes affecting the indirect lending finance industry in 51 U.S. jurisdictions, and are protected by a limited compliance warranty.

“Working with Wolters Kluwer Financial Services will provide us instant access to the AppOne network of independent dealers — a key customer segment for our growing business,” said Todd Pierson, COO at Gateway One Lending & Finance. “This will help us reach more dealerships and introduce them to the competitive financing we provide.”

“As Gateway One expands its reach nationally, AppOne is uniquely positioned to support its growth efforts by connecting Gateway with independent dealers and helping the company mitigate risk,” said Lee Domingue, CEO of indirect lending at Wolters Kluwer Financial Services. “At the same time, this relationship provides our dealer customers with access to a strong lender in the prime and near-prime markets.”
