LAKEWOOD, Colo.--GE Auto Warranty Services (GE AWS) increased its number of active auto dealerships by 77 percent over a 12-month period.
The company attributes the growth to its successful agent training program. Over 250 agents have completed GE AWS's agent certification course, which includes product, service and technology training.
Jim Slavik, GE AWS's president, also credits the integrated structure for the growing number of dealer affiliations. "All product development, underwriting and servicing are managed and owned by GE AWS," said Slavik. "I think customers are naturally drawn to convenience and simplicity."
GE Auto Warranty Services offers vehicle service contracts and related products.
