LAKE SUCCESS, N.Y. - Arkona Inc., a subsidiary of software and data solutions provider DealerTrack Holdings Inc., has announced that Hyundai Motor America will integrate its dealer communications platform with the DealerTrack Arkona dealer management system (DMS). The company stated that full integration with factory communications will significantly enhance the appeal of the DMS to the more than 860 Hyundai dealerships in the U.S.

"Many Hyundai dealers are increasingly interested in the DealerTrack DMS because of its competitive pricing and Software as a Service model, as well as the open access it provides," said Dave Zuchowski, vice president of sales at Hyundai Motor America. "We have worked closely with DealerTrack to ensure that our integrated communications solution will create new efficiencies and enhance the free flow of information to and from our dealer base — consistent with our ongoing commitment to help drive sales, profitability and customer satisfaction at Hyundai dealerships across North America."

Following the planned integration, Hyundai dealers utilizing the DMS with the new factory communication interface will be able to expedite critical transaction processes and eliminate many potential data errors. Information will transfer seamlessly from one system to another without having to be re-keyed, according to the manufacturer.

"We are very pleased that Hyundai Motor America intends to integrate its dealer communication systems with the DealerTrack Arkona DMS," said Raj Sundaram, senior vice president, dealer solutions at DealerTrack. "The integration will be a critical factor for Hyundai dealers considering the Arkona solution, and especially for large dealership groups with Hyundai franchises. Hyundai dealers will be able to move forward with confidence that we can meet their technology needs, consistent with all OEM communication requirements. DealerTrack looks forward to offering Hyundai dealers an efficient and economical DMS solution."
