AUSTIN, Texas -- IAS, a provider of F&I software programs, announced it has expanded its SmartDealerProducts F&I selling software suite to include a reporting tool. SmartInsight is an automated solution that harnesses the power of the Internet and e-mail to provide advanced F&I reporting functionality to dealership personnel.
SmartInsight reports are completely customizable to fit dealer needs and feature multiple data grouping options including data grouped by store, by F&I manager or by sales manager. Reports can also include various modules as determined by the dealer including deal count data, product penetration data and product profit data. Reports utilize "click-through" technology, allowing the user to drill down into greater detail for each number included on the report.
"In today’s complicated dealership environment many dealers think they have to choose between profits and compliance," said Bob Corbin, president. "Utilizing a tool like SmartInsight allows them to establish F&I accountability over both. SmartInsight allows the dealer to drill down into data by simply clicking on any number on a report to see what data is represented. This software provides powerful insight into what is happening at the dealership."
SmartInsight utilizes DMS integration to extract data from leading DMS systems without user intervention to help eliminate errors caused by inaccurate data entry. The necessary data can be extracted through a high speed VPN (Virtual Private Network) connection or through nightly maintenance modem extraction.
A key feature of SmartInsight is the convenient delivery of reports via e-mail so that dealership users do not need to remember to log into the system. Each user can specify his own report schedule, and each report can have a different schedule. Reports can be scheduled to run daily, weekly or monthly.
