InterActive Financial Marketing Group (IFMG), a Special Finance Lead Generation company, has announced that it has moved its headquarters from Newport, Rhode Island to 101 South 14th Street in Richmond, Virginia. The company also has an office in Massachusetts. IFMG says it specializes in procuring special finance customers from the Internet through their trademarked marquees including CARLOAN.COM, AUTOLOAN.COM, NOHASSLE.COM, and 1-800-AUTO-LOAN.

“A strong workforce, quality of life, proximity to major colleges and universities, and an up-and-coming telecommunications and technology infrastructure are the qualities that made Virginia an attractive choice for the relocation of our company,” said Travis Weisleder, vice president, InterActive Financial Marketing Group. “In the short time that we have been in Richmond, we have increased our employee base by more than 50 percent by tapping into the city’s skilled workforce.”

According to IFMG, it has been helping people obtain auto loans since 1989. IFMG’s network of franchised auto dealers specializes in getting people the financing they need for new or used vehicles. IFMG offers dealers a web based software system where dealers can manage their leads, send their applications to one of over 40 Electronically Integrated Lenders, or pull credit bureaus in real time.

“It’s a great pleasure to have InterActive Financial move to Richmond from Rhode Island, and especially significant the group chose to locate its office in the heart of the River District,” said John W. Woodward, director of Economic Development for the City of Richmond. “The unique character of that area is what attracts progressive firms like InterActive Financial. Indeed I would predict that over the next few weeks we will see more announcements from other innovative technology companies also relocating to the River District.”
