N.C. — Indian Motorcycle kicked off its summer sales event by reducing the price of its 2009 Chief Standard to $25,999.
The short fender standard model has an MSRP of $25,999,
while the long fender standard model has an MSRP of $28,999.
“With this price reduction, the most beautiful motorcycle on
the market is available at a great value,” said Chris Bernauer, General Manager
of Indian Motorcycle Company. The Chief Standard features a redesigned 105
cubic inch PowerPlus V-Twin powertrain with electronic closed loop fuel
injection.
The Chief Standard is available in Thunder Black with a
silver Indian script or headdress option or Indian Red with gold Indian script
or headdress. This beautiful motorcycle features laced wheels, black wall
tires, and a solo seat in optional black or tan leather.

or internationally in Paris, France and Switzerland. The 2009 Chief lineup
will also be on display at the following events:
- ROT Rally at Austin,
Texas from June 11-13.
