DETROIT — TheCarConnection.com marks its 10th anniversary this week with the launch of a complete site redesign and a new alliance with J.D. Power and Associates. J.D. Power is providing TheCarConnection.com with significant new content designed to enhance the car and truck purchase process, according to executives.
As part of their new alliance, J.D. Power is providing TheCarConnection.com with an array of information designed to inform, guide and protect auto shoppers. Visitors to the site will get immediate access to J.D. Power's benchmark quality and reliability ratings, which are based on J.D. Power's independent studies, executives noted.
Readers also will be given the tools to "build" a virtual car, and compare product prices and features. Even more features will be rolled out over the course of the coming year as J.D. Power and TheCarConnection.com expand their relationship.
TheCarConnection.com's expanded shopping center also provides access to the latest vehicle prices, along with buying, selling and maintenance tips, and access to affordable automotive loans, executives explained.
Along with the expanded consumer shopping center, TheCarConnection.com's redesign introduces a new podcast feature, expanded RSS feeds and enhanced news coverage. Including an updated version of TheCarConnection's daily automotive news service, Daily Edition.
