Kar Holdings Starts New Company Aimed at Independents
Kar Holdings Inc. recently announced the start of a new company targeted at independent dealers.
Carmel, IN – Kar Holdings Inc. recently announced the start of a new company targeted at independent dealers. Automotive Finance Consumer Division (AFCD) will specialize in finance and insurance products and services, with its product line including a dealer management system developed by Nowcom Corp. The focus of the company is to aid independent automotive dealers and help them close more deals each month.
According the company’s website, “AFCD was established to address and meet the needs of automotive dealerships that would like to increase the number of cars sold per month and the revenue per car by having access to F&I products and general dealership operations products.”
The system is designed to enable dealers to process retail contracts, forms and inventory reports, while also allowing dealers to run credit reports and get vehicle price data from industry guidebooks. AFCD says it is able to offer F&I services to independent dealers who don’t have the budget or staff but want to offer its customers finance options.
