Kelleher Named Interim President of NADA
The Executive Committee of the National Automobile Dealers Association (NADA) on Feb. 27 named Bruce Kelleher interim president of NADA following the death of Frank McCarthy on Feb. 25.
Kelleher, who joined NADA in 1966, worked closely with McCarthy for more than 30 years.
McCarthy was due to retire at the end of this year and a search committee to find his
successor was already in place.
The Executive Committee on Feb. 27 decided not to speed the search process, according to NADA Newswire. A permanent replacement for McCarthy is expected to be named at the June board meeting.
