When it comes to buying a used car, nobody wants to get stuck with a lemon. Announced April 18, Kelley Blue Book(R) and Inspection Solution will offer consumers nationwide an inspection that promises to bring peace of mind to thousands of used-car buyers and sellers.

The LemonBusters Pre-Purchase Auto Inspection is being offered by Inspection Solution, which is a division of Remarketing Solutions. Through the agreement, Inspection Solution becomes the featured inspection company on Kelley Blue Book’s Web site at www.kbb.com - “Get Inspections.”

Consumers will be able to go to the site and schedule an appointment with a certified master technician to inspect a vehicle being bought or sold. Within 24 to 48 hours a master technician will perform an on-the-spot inspection covering all mechanical and electrical components as well as the frame, body and chassis of any vehicle.

The cost of the complete mobile service is $129, with surcharges for four-wheel drive and specialty vehicles and outside the metropolitan areas.

Following an inspection, customers are able to view the inspection report and images through Inspection Solution’s Web site at www.lemonbusters.com or www.kbb.com - “Get Inspections.” All reports are detailed yet easy to understand, with complete descriptions of any problems discovered during the inspection, according to Nick Peluso, president of Remarketing Solutions.

“A consumer’s biggest concern when purchasing a used vehicle is making sure they are buying a quality vehicle,” Peluso said. “Just as the Kelley Blue Book has long been a respected source for consumers determining the value of used vehicles, LemonBusters Pre-Purchase Auto Inspection was created to be an impartial, informative inspection for anyone who is buying or selling a used vehicle.”

Customers with any questions regarding the inspection process can also contact the National Call Center at (800) 601-8429 between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. CDT, Monday through Saturday.
