Life of the South Corporation, a provider and administrator of credit insurance and payment protection services, announced that Elaine Pelletier, ASA, MAAA, has joined the company as vice president and chief actuary.
Jacksonville, FL — Life of the South Corporation, a provider and administrator of credit insurance and payment protection services, announced that Elaine Pelletier, ASA, MAAA, has joined the company as vice president and chief actuary.
Ms. Pelletier brings to her new position extensive experience in credit insurance, payment protection products and group benefits. For the past nine years, she has been a consulting actuary with Credit Re, a consulting firm specializing in actuarial, accounting, risk management and risk transfer solutions for credit-related protection products and service contracts offered by lenders, retailers and auto dealers.
“We are thrilled to have someone with Elaine’s background and expertise join our team. She has worked with Life of the South as a consultant for many years, and she is well known to many of our clients, partners and reinsurers,” said Chief Operating Officer Daniel Reppert. “We are growing, adding new products and expanding into new markets. Elaine’s skills in product development, pricing and actuarial analysis uniquely qualify her to provide leadership in those areas.”
