Mercedes-Benz USA (MBUSA) has announced the appointment of Norbert Litzkow to vice president, finance, controlling and information technology at the company's Montvale, N.J., headquarters.
In this capacity, Litzkow serves as MBUSA's chief financial officer, reporting to Paul Halata, president and CEO of MBUSA. Litzkow is responsible for corporate planning and controlling, information technology, corporate facility planning, purchasing, corporate treasury and tax administration. He is also a member of the MBUSA executive management team.
Litzkow began his career with Daimler-Benz in 1982 and brings broad experience in the finance and controlling area to MBUSA. Before his most recent position as head of controlling, purchasing and organization development at the DaimlerChrysler Assembly Plant in Vitoria, Spain, Litzkow was director of controlling and reporting for the company's headquarters in Stuttgart with responsibility for the Mercedes-Benz Vans business unit. Before that, he served in various corporate planning and controlling management positions for the company.
Litzkow holds a degree in business and mechanical engineering from the University of Karlsruhe in Germany. Originally from Germany, Litzkow has relocated with his family to Westchester County, N.Y.
