LoJack Appoints Robert Lem Vice President of Information Technology for LoJack Corporation

LoJack Corporation President and COO, Joseph F. Abely announced on October 29th the appointment of Robert Lem as vice president of information technology for LoJack Corporation.


LoJack Corporation, headquartered in Westwood, MA, markets the nation's only police-operated stolen vehicle recovery system, sold in the major metropolitan areas of the United States.

In this newly created position, Mr. Lem will report directly to Mr. Abely. He will direct all of the company's planning, development implementation and support of all information technology and infrastructures.


"Bob Lem is a tremendous addition to LoJack's team as we continue to advance and develop new technology and information systems," said Mr. Abely. "He recently managed the IT integration of HighGround Systems' infrastructure into the Sun Global Network. It was the largest acquisition based integration product with Sun Microsystems. His expertise and talent as a technology manager, consultant and analyst will be of great value in LoJack's continuing development."


Prior to joining LoJack, Mr. Lem was director of Information Technology for HighGround Systems, recently acquired by Sun Microsystems, Inc. He managed all IT operations and services for the Massachusetts-based Network Storage software and development firm.


LoJack's new vice president of information technology brings a strong managerial and technical background to his new position, having served as senior vice president of information technology for Colliers International, one of the world's largest global commercial real estate organizations, and as vice president, information systems and services for Bronner Slosberg Humphrey, one of the nation's largest strategic marketing firms.


Mr. Lem's early career experience was gained as an information technology manager, consultant, and programmer analyst in the retail, health, software and financial services industries.
