SEARCHWESTWOOD, Mass. -- LoJack Corp. secured the rights to use a single national radio frequency in China to operate its stolen vehicle recovery network. China's Ministry of Public Security has approved the LoJack product and system. This was a critical step in entering the Beijing, China, market.
WESTWOOD, Mass. -- LoJack Corp. secured the rights to use a single national radio frequency in China to operate its stolen vehicle recovery network. China's Ministry of Public Security has approved the LoJack product and system. This was a critical step in entering the Beijing, China, market.
The company will next work to secure a licensee who will establish the local operating company and work on developing the local infrastructure. It will then complete the network for operational readiness.
"We have pursued expansion into China for more than two years," said Ronald Rossi, LoJack chairman.
"Clearly China represents a tremendous opportunity," said Rossi. "In a city with almost two million privately owned passenger vehicles, and automobile production in China skyrocketing, Beijing is a prime target for rising vehicle theft."
Some of it should be given to the customer, but that doesn’t mean the F&I office relinquishes the process. In fact, a different approach both builds trust and boosts sales.
