Longtime Alabama Dealer Passes Away
Hassell Morrell Freeman, the founder of H.M. Freeman Motors, passed away at the age of 84.
GADSDEN, Ala. — Hassell Morrell Freeman, known to three generations of car buyers as H.M. Freeman, passed away at the age of 84, reports The Gadsden Times.
Freeman’s dealership, H.M. Freeman Motors, was started from his yard and later became a five-generation family business. The dealership has been a member of the Alabama Used Car Association and has won the “Quality Used Car Dealership” award for independent dealers.
