F&I Management and Technology magazine will announce its 2009 F&I Dealer of the Year during its annual press conference at this month’s National Automobile Dealers Association’s conference. The ceremony will also recognize this year’s six F&I Pacesetters of the Year.
The press conference will be held in room 256 inside the New Orleans Morial Convention Center on Saturday, Jan. 24, at 1 p.m.
In December, the magazine selected its six F&I Pacesetters, all of which are in the running for the magazine’s 2009 F&I Dealer of the Year Award. Each Pacesetter is featured in the January issue of F&I Management and Technology magazine.
This year’s field includes McCloskey Auto Group, Colorado Springs, Colo.; The Suburban Collection, Troy, Mich.; Bunnin Automotive Group, Oxnard, Calif.; Paradise Chevrolet Cadillac, Temecula, Calif.; Mark Miller Toyota, Salt Lake City, Utah; and Northwest Honda BMW, Owings Mills, Maryland.
“What can you say about 2008? The challenges were definitely unprecedented,” said Gregory Arroyo, executive editor of the magazine. “However, this year’s six F&I Pacesetters really demonstrated the type of resiliency that typifies this industry. And I must say, deciding on one dealer for our F&I Dealer of the Year award was definitely difficult.”
Make sure to check out page 14 of the January issue of F&I magazine for a complete roundup of this year’s F&I Pacesetters.
