Man Finds No Record of VSC Purchased at Mich. Dealership
A man who bought a car at Auto Exchange last year discovered that the VSC provider had no record of the $2,566 contract he purchased. The dealership was shut down in April.
GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. —A man who purchased a 2008 Saab 9-7X from Auto Exchange last year discovered the vehicle service contract (VSC) provider had no record of the VSC he purchased from the dealership. Auto Exchange was shut down in April for failing to submit customers’ vehicle purchase documents to the state, woodtv.com reports.
Derek Wustman bought the VSC for $2,566, but was unable to get coverage when his vehicle broke down. A person familiar with the dealership told the new source that it was possible the business manager had sold the VSC and never actually paid the provider.
