Manheim Auctions announced May 30 that Mike Langhorne has been named senior vice president and chief financial officer and Richard Deckard has been named senior vice president of technology and chief information officer for Manheim Auctions. Both continue to report to Dean Eisner, president and chief executive officer.
Langhorne is responsible for all financial and related functions within Manheim including accounting, treasury, Manheim Automotive Financial Services, Remarketing Solutions and daily operations in Australia and New Zealand.
Langhorne joined Manheim as a senior accountant in 1984, and was promoted to controller in 1991 and vice president of financial services in 1996. He is a graduate of the University of Georgia and holds a master’s degree in business administration from Georgia State University. He is a member of the American Institute of CPAs and the Georgia Society of CPAs.
Deckard is responsible for strategic technology initiatives for Manheim. Having joined Manheim in 1974, Deckard has served as an accountant, assistant controller and vice president. He has been responsible for development of the auction systems, network and programming for Manheim since 1976.
Deckard is a graduate of Elizabethtown College in Pennsylvania and is a Certified Public Accountant.
