According to Manheim Auctions, dealers have a new way to manage their business at auctions – whether they’re conducting business at one auction or several. Dealers now have access to their business account information at any Manheim auction online in real-time 24 hours a day, seven days a week – at no charge.

"Manheim customers can now decide how they want to conduct business with us – at the counter, over the phone, or online," said Joe Luppino, chief operating officer of Manheim Interactive. "Dealers decide when and how they want to manage their business with us."

Information on MyAccount is secure. As Luppino said, "Information is password-protected, and dealer principals can limit the individuals who have access to this financial information."

According to the company, by taking advantage of this free service, dealers can use MOL’s MyAccount to:

  • Check their account information, including online and physical auction transactions.

  • Review their universal credit limit and outstanding balances at the auctions.

  • View block summary reports at any Manheim auction.

  • Use the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) Search to look up all transaction activity for a particular vehicle or check the current status of its title or the transaction.

  • Make payments online.

  • Receive e-mail notifications of arbitration and title changes.

  • Check their Manheim Automotive Financial Services (MAFS) account. (MAFS customers only).

"This is a new way for our dealers to connect with Manheim," said Luppino. "Besides visiting or calling an auction, they now can quickly and easily check the status of their business at their convenience."

In addition, Manheim claims to have launched another online enhancement to benefit dealers. Dealers can now submit payments online. Dealers who do not want to make payments online have the ability to create custom invoices that can be printed and mailed to the respective auctions. Dealers also will be able to access information regarding balances owed to the auction(s) from the Account Balance pages.

"Our goal is to make it easier for all dealers to do business with Manheim auctions," said Luppino. "We see this added convenience as just another way we’re dedicated to dealers."

Dealers wanting more information on Manheim Online’s MyAccount can call Joe Luppino at (678) 645-2250 or Customer Service at 800-377-4343.

Manheim Auctions say they offer services that impact every stage of a used vehicle’s life cycle. These include transaction, reconditioning and certification services, managed remarketing, end-of-lease-term management services, vehicle transportation, dealer floor planning, retail inspection and government auction services. The company also assists auto manufacturers, fleet and lease companies, banks and other financial institutions in selling their used vehicle inventories.

A wholly owned subsidiary of Cox Enterprises, Inc., with more than 32,000 employees at its 124 auctions and related businesses, Manheim is a global remarketing organization with 85 auctions in North America and additional operations in France, the United Kingdom, Australia and New Zealand. In the year 2001, the company claims to have auctioned more than 9.5 million vehicles at its North American auctions.
