WESTLAKE VILLAGE, Calif. -- Market Scan Information Systems’ new desking module product starts the financing discussion by offering customers a multitude of payment options. mPencil™ displays payment options for multiple terms based on different amounts of customer cash. It also provides side-by-side comparisons of finance and lease payments over different terms. The program is able to calculate payments from lenders’ lease and finance data and display the results on the touch-screen interface.

"mPencil takes us exactly where we need to be and simplifies the process by cutting down the number of software packages we have to use," said Safi Nabi, general sales manager of Keyes Lexus in Van Nuys, Calif. "It allows us to tailor our quotes to exactly what our customers want to see without confusing them with too many facts."

In addition to increasing lease penetration, Bryan Baer of Budd Baer Automotive Group in Washington, Pa., said mPencil has simplified the job of coaching the sales staff.

mPencil can be purchased as part of Market Scan’s Modular Dealership Suite or as a stand-alone product.
