STILLWATER, Minn. -- Advanced Auto Dealer Strategies is offering free, database-driven Web sites to dealers nationwide with a subscription to its Search Engine Optimized auto portal.

Each dealer's inventory and Web site will be linked to Advanced Auto Dealers' main portal site at www.usednewcars.com. This site is being search-engine optimized to rank in the top 10 major search engines for over 3,500 auto search terms. The company estimates that the optimization will result in 8 million visitors to the site annually.

As an alternative to traditional advertising, Advanced Auto Dealer Strategies develops Internet solutions that seek to improve dealers' sales.

"The consumer today is jumping on the Internet and using their favorite search engine to find exactly what they want," said Larry Hering, AADS' president. "If you are looking for a specific car, for instance, most people look for the make and model using a search engine. Our portal site is going to come up on the first page of search results when we are fully optimized."

"The websites we are giving away are not the static, one-page sites that most services offer or the franchisee sites that have limited administrative control and can't be optimized to score high in the search engines," says Hering. "They are dynamic and customizable for every dealer with their own text, logos, photos, domain, e-mail addresses, vehicle show rooms with unlimited number of cars, lead and traffic tracking, wholesale Intranet, and many other essential functions auto dealers said they were looking for when we did our research."

Along with the main portal site being optimized, each dealer's Web site will be search-engine optimized by geography. The geographic optimization is being done so consumer traffic is driven directly to the dealer's site and or physical location based on the dealership's regional area.
