On June 16, Manheim’s Michigan Auto Auction says it will celebrate two milestones. The date marks its one-year anniversary of hosting Ford Credit sales as well as Ford Motor Company’s 100th anniversary. Michigan Auto Auction will observe these occasions with a “One in a Hundred” sale.

The sale, which is open to all dealers, will offer more than 450 vehicles, with dealers expected to attend from Michigan, Ohio, Indiana and Pennsylvania. The three-lane sale will feature more than 200 vehicles from Ford Credit, with the remainder being lease and off-lease vehicles, dealer consignments and bank and credit institution units. Enterprise Rent-A-Car will also feature about 50 vehicles.

“It’s an honor to share a special anniversary with Ford,” said Eric Wagner, auction manager of Michigan Auto Auction. “In the past year that we have had Ford on board, we have seen Manheim reestablish its market share in the Flint area. Our sales have been very successful and we expect this anniversary sale to be no exception.”

Prior to the 2 p.m. sale, dealers can enjoy an anniversary celebration with food and drinks from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in an outside tent adjacent to the auction. Each dealer present will be automatically entered to win special prizes including a patio furniture set and a canary yellow, 1932 Roadster coupe go-cart.
