PITTSBURGH -- The National Automotive Finance Association's Eighth Annual Auto Financing Conference in Chicago will open June 16 with a session focusing on dealers' experiences with special finance.
On the second day, Mark Floyd, chief operating officer of AmeriCredit, will discuss the changes and strategic decisions that led to the company's dramatic financial turnaround this past year.
Dealers and finance executives will also learn about remarketing trends, auto loan ABS outlook, and legal issues such as employment law, fair lending, privacy, bankruptcy and credit reporting. Identity theft and e-contracting are popular topics that will be examined again this conference. Other topics include outsourcing, portfolio risk analytics, servicing, F&I practices and remarketing repossessed vehicles.
"Because the conference is planned by people who work in the industry, the sessions are always relevant," said Jack Tracey, the Association's executive director.
