Calgary, Alberta — Quorum Information Technologies Inc. (Quorum) and Mitchell 1 have entered into an agreement designed to bring Quorum’s dealership management system (DMS) customers increased revenue and efficiencies in their service departments.

Rather than building a unique program, Quorum has chosen to endorse Mitchell 1’s flagship OnDemand5.com retail labor time guide software and develop integration to make the process seamless for dealerships to use.

Mitchell 1’s OnDemand5.com software allows dealerships’ service departments to electronically spec out parts and prepare service estimates for customers. Dealerships can launch the Mitchell 1 OnDemand5.com application right from the repair order screen of Quorum’s DMS, and easily bring the data back to update the repair order automatically with services selected from the Mitchell 1 application.

This integration feature is included in Quorum’s new Version 4.6 Release, which will be available to Quorum customers when released in June.

“Mitchell 1 and Quorum both put a high priority on responding to customers’ input and ensuring our software products stay ahead of the curve,” said Maury Marks, president and CEO of Quorum. “That is just one of the many reasons why the agreement between Quorum and Mitchell 1 makes sense. We are excited about bringing the leading service estimating capability of Mitchell 1’s OnDemand5.com software right into our DMS to help our dealers improve the profitability and efficiency of their service operation.”

Dave Ellingen, president of Mitchell 1 and president of Snap-on Diagnostics said, “The integration between the Quorum DMS and Mitchell 1’s OnDemand5.com is another of one of the many ways both organizations provide the industry with applications to increase productivity for their customers. With the increase of service and maintenance performed in the dealership market, this type of integration is beneficial for our customers to stay ahead of their competition.”
