Las Vegas MPi, a leading provider of profitability tools for auto dealer service departments, has announced the appointment of David Boyle, formerly the company's Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing, to the newly created position of President and Chief Operating Officer. In this role, Boyle will be responsible for day-to-day operations and the focused execution of MPi’s 2008 business plan. He will report directly to Les Silver, MPi’s Chairman and CEO, and will be based out of MPi’s Las Vegas, Nev. offices.

Boyle brings to MPi 20 years of automotive sales, marketing and management experience with specific expertise in the areas of CRM, e-CRM, process improvement and selling to retail automotive dealerships. Prior to MPi he had a rewarding 15-year career with Newgen Results Corporation, which he helped build into the leading provider of targeted customer loyalty solutions in the automotive space, servicing over 7000 dealerships. While at Newgen he helped develop a national field consulting organization that launched a number of major initiatives for OEMs, including a highly successful retail business growth strategy for Ford Customer Service Division.

Commenting on his new position, Boyle said, “I’m thrilled to be working in such a vibrant and rapidly growing company that has the power to make a significant difference for dealers in today’s market conditions.
