NADA Elects 2005 Chairman
HALF MOON BAY, Calif. -- The National Automobile Dealers Association elected Jack Kain as its 2005 chairman. Kain is owner of Jack Kain Ford in Versailles, Ky., and Kain Family Ford/Lincoln-Mercury in London, Ky.
HALF MOON BAY, Calif. -- The National Automobile Dealers Association elected Jack Kain as its 2005 chairman. Kain is owner of Jack Kain Ford in Versailles, Ky., and Kain Family Ford/Lincoln-Mercury in London, Ky.
Kain, a new car dealer since 1952, is NADA's 2004 vice chairman. He is finance chairman of the Dealers Election Action Committee and has served on the association's Convention, Guide, Used Car and NADART (retirement trust) Committees. He has won Ford Motor Co.'s Chairman's Award 10 times and is past president of the Kentucky Automobile Dealers Association.
Also, NADA elected William Bradshaw as its 2005 vice chairman. Bradshaw is president of Bradshaw Automotive Group in Greer, S.C. He has been a dealer since 1979. He is the 2004 chairman of NADA's Industry Relations Committee. He also serves on the South Carolina Automobile Dealers Association's board of directors. In 1997, Bradshaw was named the South Carolina Dealer of the Year and received the Time Magazine Quality Dealer Award.
The election was held at NADA's board of directors meeting in Half Moon Bay, Calif. Kain and Bradshaw will assume office at NADA's convention and expo in New Orleans at the end of January 2005.
