NADA Reports Record Membership
More than 90 percent of the nation’s franchised new car and truck dealers are now members of the National Automobile Dealers Association, a first since the organization’s inception in 1917, according to NADA.
New membership totals reached 19,791, a record 91.1 percent of the 21,725 franchised vehicle dealers in the U.S., according to H. Carter Myers III, NADA chairman.
“Breaking through the 90 percent membership barrier is a landmark achievement for NADA or any industry association,” Myers said. “It shows the strength of NADA, and makes it clear that, in the 86-year history of the association, franchised dealers are more committed than ever to working together for industry progress.”
