NADAguides.com, a vehicle information resource on the Internet, and Chrome Systems Corporation, a provider of automotive data, configuration technology and commerce solutions, announced they have teamed up to provide automotive industry professionals with a database of new and used vehicle pricing, specification information and related technologies available on the market.

With this partnership, Chrome says it will be the pricing and configuration services provider for NADAguides.com and its comprehensive roster of new vehicle consumer products. In turn, NADAguides.com will be the pre-owned vehicle valuation provider for Chrome’s suite of vehicle pricing and specification tools. The companies say this partnership will create one source of standardized new and used vehicle information for industry professionals and consumers.

“We’re extremely pleased to partner with Chrome, a company that has built its reputation on developing the most accurate and unbiased new vehicle data,” said Lenny Sims, vice president of NADAguides.com. “Chrome will provide NADAguides.com with the vehicle building and pricing tools it needs to maintain its competitive edge in the new car arena and NADAguides.com will provide Chrome with the used vehicle valuations it needs to maintain its competitive edge in the used car arena. It’s a perfect union – one that allows both companies to focus on their core competencies which ultimately brings greater efficiencies to the automotive retail channel.”

"The dual strength of our brands and integrity of our data help make it easier for online shoppers to make better purchasing decisions," said Dave Mingle, Chrome president. "The NADAguides.com reputation for editorial expertise and consumer service is thoroughly impressive. We're very excited to team with them and to bring our core strengths together. In this case, two brands are definitely better than one."

According to both companies, the new online technologies created with this partnership are unprecedented. First, both the new and used vehicle information databases developed by Chrome and NADAguides will be completely integrated, which will allow consumers to do things they were never able to do before, such as side-by-side new and used vehicle comparisons as well as new vs. used vs. actual dealer inventory comparisons.

Additionally, the NADAguides/Chrome tools are easy to implement yet highly customizable, enabling IT managers to quickly incorporate the tools into existing online operations and customize as desired. NADAguides and Chrome have mapped their vehicle information databases, eliminating the need for IT managers to perform the mapping on their own.

Finally, the companies say that with the breadth and depth of their current partnerships and client base, this union will help standardize vehicle data across the industry, creating consistency for consumers and industry professionals alike. This partnership will provide one credible source of vehicle information – a selling point for many businesses tired of dealing with multiple vendors in their daily business operations. NADAguides and Chrome are confident both business professionals and consumers alike will benefit from the extensive, accurate and unbiased data created by this unique partnership.
