In response to the events of September 11, 2001, National Auto Care Corporation
(NAC) recently created "Contracts for a Cause," a program that will be offered to automobile
dealerships across the country, beginning in 2002. With every NAC service contract sold by a
dealer, National Auto Care will donate five dollars towards the dealer's favorite charity.
"This program is really special in that the dealer can pick any charity he or she wants to
support, no matter how local or how small," states NAC Exec/VP Pete Biscardi. "It could be
a Little League team, a school band, the Cancer Society or even a program the dealer's spouse
may be involved in...something meaningful and close to the community."
National Auto Care sees it as an opportunity for the dealership to support charities that often
fall through the cracks when it comes to a community's major fundraising efforts.
"Just think, whether it's $50, $100, or $300 a month, it's funds that the charity would not
have had, were it not for Contracts for a Cause," Biscardi said.
At the end of every month, NAC will submit a check
reflecting the amount of charity dollars earned from the sale of contracts. The check will go
directly to the dealer, made out to the dealer's designated charity.

service contracts to auto dealerships across the United States. It operates through a
