FOUNTAIN VALLEY, Calif. — Gensis, Hyundai's new luxury unit,  announced it will offer complimentary maintenance for three years or 36,000 miles, loaner cars, and a valet service with its 2017 G90 and G80 luxury sedans. The goal, officials said, is to lure buyers to the new brand.

Genesis will also offer complimentary "connected services," SiriusXM traffic and data, and enhanced roadside assistance with concierge services. Additionally, Genesis will offer around-the-clock vehicle towing. The models will also come with a 10-year, 100,000-mile warranty.

Genesis also released new details about its rear-wheel G80 model, which will be sold with a 3.8L V-6 or 5.0L V-8. All-wheel drive is optional. The G80 will arrive as the mid-size model to compete with the BMW 5 Series, Mercedes-Benz E-Class, and Lexus ES models.

Standard safety technology on the G80 includes automatic emergency braking, lane keep assist and blind spot detection.
