New Jersey Reverses Tesla Sales Ban
The electric car maker will now be able to open up to four direct-sale stores and at least one service center in the state.
TRENTON, N.J. — Governor Chris Christie signed a bill Wednesday that will allow Tesla Motors to sell its vehicles directly to consumers in the state, following a nearly year-long ban, CNET reports.
The bill will reauthorize Tesla to open a maximum of four direct-sale stores and at least one service center.
