New Web Service Offered to Chrysler Group Dealers

Designed exclusively for Chrysler, Dodge and

Jeep® dealers, the Marketing Planner Web tool makes day-to-day dealer

marketing functions fast, seamless and simple, according to the company. The Web service, now

available through Chrysler Group's DealerCONNECT portal, allows dealers the

ability to design and produce marketing, advertising and promotional

materials with a few clicks.



"Marketing communication activities that took Chrysler Group dealers days

or even weeks to finalize have now been reduced to a few hours," said

Christine MacKenzie, vice president dealer operations for the Chrysler

Group. "Additionally, it's a great cost savings tool. The Marketing

Planner is in line with our DealerCONNECT strategy to make customers the

main focus, not cumbersome processes."

According to the company, the Marketing Planner provides dealers with access to creative executions

for local market use. Easy-to-use templates enable dealers to customize

creative executions to meet their specific retail needs including headline

option choices, product photo selections and areas for targeted dealer

promotions. Dealers are able to access all forms of advertising and

marketing communications which includes custom newspaper, point-of-sale

materials and direct mail. Once the design process is complete, Chrysler

Group dealers can produce the materials locally or through production

suppliers tied directly to the Marketing Planner.



"Our focus is selling vehicles and building brand pride. The

implementation of this service will make it easier for dealers to do both,"

said Jeff Bell, vice president Jeep and interactive communications and CRM

for the Chrysler Group. "It's a turnkey system; the template style format

makes it easy to lay out ads and promotional materials while maintaining

the Chrysler, Dodge and Jeep brand identities."

The Marketing Planner Web tool was developed in partnership with BBDO

Detroit and Advertising Audit Service, Inc. (AAS). BBDO Detroit and AAS

worked together with the Chrysler Group to provide the site's

functionality, creative content, dealer and support services.
