Chrome Systems Corporation, provider of automotive data, configuration technology and commerce solutions announced that Newgen Results Corporation, a provider of customer relationship management (CRM) tools for auto dealerships, will utilize Chrome's New Vehicle Data(tm) in their Sales Channel tool.

Through the agreement, Chrome's New Vehicle Data(tm) will be incorporated into Sales Channel, Newgen's solution for managing and qualifying leads and scheduling dealership sales appointments. According to the company, the integration of Chrome's data will enable Newgen's sales coordinators to identify vehicle details and options of specific vehicles and communicate knowledgeably with prospects about the vehicles they are interested in purchasing.

Chrome says its New Vehicle Data is comprehensive, and provides complete information on 43 makes, including all major domestics, imports and exotics. Dealership personnel can access information on competitive models, enabling them to compare multiple vehicles, helping them prepare for the in-house sales process. Dealerships and consumers both benefit by relying on the same accurate vehicle information that is consistently represented in over 12,000 dealerships, financial institutions and Web sites today, according to the company.

"We chose Chrome because of their reputation and their presence across the industry," said William Klehm III, president and general manager of Newgen. "It creates a sense of trust with customers when they call or visit a dealership referencing the same exact vehicle information as the dealer."

"This agreement with Newgen helps further Chrome's position as the data standard," said David Mingle, Chrome's president. "The language of describing vehicles is our specialty and communicating about them accurately, in a standard way across all channels is our goal."
